Press Release: Valliscor Groundbreaking on new campus in Albany, Oregon

(August 20, 2025) Valliscor held its groundbreaking for their new 12+ acre campus in Albany, Oregon on Monday (August 18). Valliscor wishes to thank City of Albany Oregon, Business Oregon, Oregon State University, Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute, Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Institute, State of Oregon, Oregon State University Advantage Accelerator and so many other groups for their support. Through the Semiconductor Industrial Land Loan program & the Oregon CHIPS program, Business Oregon provided over $2.8M in support for this project. Last week, Albany City Council generously awarded Valliscor $500,000 in economic development sewer and water grant funds, to offset its construction costs.

Valliscor’s Albany site will produce fluorine-containing materials for the semiconductor and polymer industries. The lead product at the site will be hexafluoro-1,3-butadiene (C4F6) which is used as an etchant in the semiconductor manufacturing process - particularly for high aspect ratio (HAR) applications such as memory chips. Phase 1 of the master plan for Valliscor’s Albany site includes a 16,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility along with a 15,000 sq. ft. chemical storage building. The greenfield site in Albany was acquired earlier this year.

Co-founder and CEO said “None of this would be possible without the amazing team at Valliscor that I have the honor to work with everyday. We are excited about this future direction of the company and look forward to growing our business in the Willamette Valley.”
